Like Father, Like Son: Kanu Nwankwo's son scores 4 goals in one match


A truck load of expectations will surely exist, if you decide to play football and you are a son of a football legend like Kanu Nwankwo.

Arguably one of the best footballers ever to come out of Africa, it is no wonder why his first son , Sean Nwankwo is getting raves for his abilities on the pitch.

Sean who is the first son of former the Nigerian international has followed his father's footsteps as a footballer and currently playing for the Under-11 team of English side, Watford.

He also plays for his school, St John’s Prep and Senior School football team and recently helped his team win the under-11 English Schools Football Association Enfield Borough Football Tournament.
His team won 7-0 with Sean scoring four of them.

Kanu's wife took to Instagram to share the good news writing: "Enfield Winners!!! Whoop Whoop. Congrats to my darling boy and his team for winning the Enfield football cup for your school.


"My Sean boy. My top scorer. Your hard work, dedication and compassion doesn't go unnoticed. You make me so Proud to be your mum. More grease. More blessings. You deserve it," the proud mother wrote on Insatgram.

Kanu has three children with his lawyer wife Amarachi, he married her in December 2004.
